East Alabama Humane Society Inc

Approximately, 7.6 million animals enter shelters nationwide each year. Nearly half of these dogs and cats will not be adopted out. Every day the East Alabama Humane Society staff has as their mission to place the dogs and cats in our care in the ideal home where they will thrive, as well as maintaining sanitary living conditions. 

EAHS is the "little shelter that could".  We opened our doors Sept 2012 and struggle to stay open.  Our utility bills and medical bills are overwhelming.  We are seeking donations to help alleviate the cost associated with maintaining our shelter's high standard of medical care and sanitation.

We need your help to continue to help the unwanted cats and dogs within our local community. You can help support EAHS today by donating. EAHS does not recieve Federal or State Funding. Donors like you make it possible for us to continue to make an impact on so many lives.
