East Madison County Community Association

Mission Statement: 

     A grassroots organization to support and provide educational, recreational, cultural, health, and lifelong learning opportunities for youth and adults. To offer educational advancement opportunities for adults and seniors.

East Madison County Community Association is located in Jackson, Tennessee, was created by Mrs. Majorie Benson, who is deceased. Currently, we are guided by a CEO Mrs. Bernita Benson-Robertson and a Board president Mr. Johnny Miller. We offer a community center to serve our seniors, children, and all citizens of the area. Our services are needed to provide the area with tutoring for children, computer literacy for all ages. The purpose of this plan is to add health fitness and additional office space. This funding will give us a much larger area for events, allow room for fitness for seniors and others, allow after-school programs for children, provide health fairs and health screening on a routine basis. It will provide a larger area for local events to be held, as well as building rental for some of the rural churches in the area. These finances will also allow us to employ some part-time employees. we also rent to the local corporations in the area.
