East Palo Alto Boxing Club

The East Palo Alto Boxing Club is a 501(c) (3) nonprofit organization founded by Johnnie Gray, Jr., a former professional boxer and three-time Golden Glove Middleweight Champion during his boxing career.  His love and devotion for boxing motivated him to start a boxing program to give young people a place to workout and relieve stress.  We promote a healthy lifestyle by introducing youth to the benefits of physical activity and proper diet.

With the success of the boxing program for over a decade, we have expanded our activities by obtaining an additional 2500 square foot facility!  In this new facility we are offering homework tutoring, arts & crafts, technical training, job skill training, and computer literacy.

The Muhammad Ali Center is now open and we are reaching our long term goal to create a diverse Center, where we can provide instruction for not only boxing, but also for academics.
