East Valley Childrens Theatre

EVCT is more than just a theatre.  It is a place where children can grow and develop into confident young adults.  At EVCT, youth gain self-esteem and develop creativity.  Its mission is to offer youth age 5-18 opportunities to experience the process and product of live theatrical performances, by children for children and their families.

EVCT offers a variety of classes involving singing, dancing, and acting skills.  We also have troupes that perform at libraries, bookstores, and retirement communities throughout the East Valley.  Spring Break and Summer Camp programs are also available.  We perform four main stage productions each season at the Mesa Arts Center.  We have also partnered with Mesa Public Schools to provide after school classes; Cardon Children's Medical Center for our Bringing Smiles to Children program, where we take each of our productions to the hospital to perform for seriously ill children and their families; Literature Alive, where we take young actors into Title I schools and libraries for a live performance and present each child with a personal copy of the book that was performed; college scholarships, playwriting contest, and much more.
