East Texas Down Syndrome Group

The East Texas Down Syndrome Group brings together people with Down syndrome and people who love them! Our purpose is to: Provide support to people with Down syndrome and their families; Educate and inform our community about people with Down syndrome and the gifts and blessings they bring; Promote acceptance and inclusion of people with Down syndrome in all aspects of society. To accomplish this mission we provide information, education, and support to self-advocates and families in East Texas.

The ETDSG strives to improve the quality of life for people with Down syndrome and their families!! This is done through New Family Packets, Membership meetings, Playgroups for the littles and Hang-Outs for teens and young adults! Families and self-advocates are sent to national conventions and return to share the most relevant information they've learned with the group.
