Eastern KY Child Care Coalition

Our mission is to increase the quantity and quality of accessible, affordable and developmentally appropriate child care in Southeastern Kentucky.  We believe that only through developing an adequate child care infrastructure in our communities can those same communities grow economically and socially.  We are dedicated to the creation of child care that is so essential to the development of our communities, human resources, and the hopes of our children for a better future!

Eastern Kentucky Child Care Coalition . . . 

. . . is the primary provider of professional development clock hours for the early care and education workforce in our region

. . . makes it possible for Family Child Care providers to participate in the USDA Child Care Food Program so they can provide nutritious meals to children in their care
