East Texas Cares

Advancing the health of Northeast Texas by providing supportive services to include food security, application assistance, and maintaining a connection to care through education, prevention, and emergency assistance to the HIV-positive community and also those who are living within a low-to-moderate income limitation.

East Texas Cares Resource Center expanded its mission 4 years ago to provide all marginalized persons with social services to help them gain access to programs. We also provide a food pantry to address food insecurity and long-term housing assistance as well as short-term housing and emergency assistance. We also provide health insurance assistance. These services have been made available to persons in our community primarily through grants.

Our goal is to expand services to persons that need emergency assistance, housing, and other services.
