A conversation between studio artist Francisco Alvarado Araujo and Easyside co-founder Corrie Thompson.

Easyside is a nonprofit nurturing artists and their neighbors through food, workspaces, exhibitions, and education.

Easyside is a volunteer-and-artist run 501(c)(3) organization, started in the spring of 2022 by artists Adrianna Touch, Fernando Alvarez, & Corrie Thompson, along with musician & entrepreneur John Paul Thompson. Adrianna, Fernando, & Corrie met in the MFA program at TCU, and the Thompsons have been East Fort Worth residents since 2018. Outside of our own creative practices, we bring together a wealth of experience, having worked with other nonprofits, galleries, institutions, and startups.

In the summer of 2023, we opened a multi-purpose facility featuring seven artist studios, a workshop, a gallery, and a space for food distribution. As we head into the fall we are starting our first food distribution program in partnership with 4DWN Projects of Dallas.

We are looking for community feedback, volunteers, organizational partners, & sponsors. Your support for Easyside directly helps artists.
