Eatontown Lions Club Foundation

The Eatontown Lions Club Foundation, a 501(C)(3) organization, is the fund-raising arm of the Eatontown Lions Club of Eatontown, NJ. The Foundation officers and board of directors are the same as the Eatontown Lions Club, a 501(c)(4), that was established in 1948. The Lions Club has maintained a diverse membership between 40 and 45 members since being organized. The Club has become an integral part of the Eatontown Community evolving from purely a service organization building a municipal park, handicap ramps, constructing gazebos for the town and senior housing complex; conducting parades; hosting holiday parties for homeless children and supporting local organizations with volunteers for fund-raisers.  The Club through its foundation is now  conducting more charitable activities such as operating a food pantry, giving scholarships; conducting vision screening of students, pre-K through 8th grade as well as contributing to other charitable organizations that offer scholarships and youth recreational activities.

 The mission of the Eatontown Lions Club Foundation is to serve Eatontown and the surrounding communities with programs and activities that promote healthy vision, scholarship, community unity and improve the lives of their residents through its volunteers and charitable donations.

The Eatontown Lions Club believes that children with a developmental or other disability should have the same opportunity to enjoy safe and healthy playground experiences as those without a disability.  The Challenger Playground will be installed in a 4,500 square foot area of Leon Smock 80 Acre Park in Eatontown centrally located to support children of six municipalities with a population of over 74,000.
