The Educational Farm at Joppa Hill, Inc., is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization that operates a working farm on 35 acres of public land leased from the Town of Bedford, N.H.

Open to the public every day, the Farm offers a variety of programs and services designed to pass our region’s vanishing agricultural heritage to new generations.

We offer garden plots, school field trips, summer camps, agricultural fairs, and other educational resources. We also serve as a trailhead for hikers, horseback riders, runners, and others who want to explore the woods between Bedford and Amherst and we do birthday parties too!

The Farm has offered summer camps for kids since 2005 and has expanded its services to provide community garden plots, a farm stand, and educational programming. The Farm is overseen by the Board of Directors, with the work done by staff and more than 100 volunteers who help with animal care, garden work, and maintenance of the buildings and grounds. The Farm property is held under conservation easements and connects to an extensive trail system overseen by the Piscataquog Land Conservancy.
