Past, present, and future. For more than 30 years, EGGTOOTH  PRODUCTIONS has looked deeply at the issues of our times to imagine a more beautiful future. We present festivals featuring the work of regional artists to expose them to new audiences and creative peers, to expand the creative economy, and to nourish our cultural discourse. We commission new work that grapples with the stories of our time and the past to begin conversations about the future. We make a difference in the lives of thousands each year. Past  Remember those first years at Deerfield Academy offering summer theater like The Resistible Rise of Arturo Ui and Wit? She Stoops to Conquer and The Miser? What was your favorite show in the Black Box? And remember our first commission, The Captivation of Eunice Williams and it's life on the road at the Smithsonian Institution, in Cooperstown, at the Ohrid Festival in Macedonia and for the Mohawks in Kahnawake? How about TRUTH, our new American opera about Sojourner Truthat the sold out performances at  the Academy of Music in Northampton? Or Madwoman of Chaillot at the Artsblock and the Pushkin Gallery with audiences rushing across the street to have tea with the Madwomen? And there was MY BRONX  that went on tour to Kosovo, Macedonia, and Albania; John Sheldon's  Red Guitar at Artsblock; Double Take Fringe Festival with eight short shows in eight different venues all in downtown Greenfield; the premiere of Frankenstein bringing attention to the First National Bank in Greenfield.

Future! Coming soon: The Radical Interconnectedness  Festival   where we are seeking proposals from artists to address the concerns of marginalized communities. 

We invite stories that engage issues of race, age, gender, religion, economic class, and those aspects of cultural identity that have been suppressed.

We seek a wide range of artistic expression: music, dance, theatrical, visual, immersive, installation. 

Also, our Summer Program for Children is filling up for August. And our Holiday Spectacular  will be take place at the Shea Theatre in Turners Falls on December 14 and 15 featuring the duo Mr. Drag and Karl .
