Serving seniors throughout Jefferson County since 1962, ElderServe is Louisville's largest non-profit, located in the heart of the Russell Neighborhood. Our mission is to empower older adults to live independently with dignity. We are dedicated to senior services providing a safety net for older adults as they move through the aging process. 

The Heart of Our Mission

ElderServe is Louisville's largest non-profit dedicated to senior services proudly located in the vibrant West End. For over 60 years, we have been the beacon of support for seniors throughout Jefferson County, enhancing the quality of life for older adults with a wide array of activities, programs, and workshops. Our community engagement initiatives, health and wellness programs, and awareness-raising events are all designed to support and celebrate our senior community. 

We recently celebrated the renovation of our beautiful Adult Day Health Center, that will provide a safe and engaging environment for seniors with Alzheimer’s and Dementia. This will be a place where caregivers can entrust their loved to our expert care during the day, allowing them some much needed respite. 

Additionally, our Senior Center offers a wide range of programs, activities, creative workshops and more all designed to keep seniors active, engaged, and connected to their community.
