The Seton Dream!

Nestled in the heart of Bladensburg, a small town located in Prince George's County Maryland, lies a high school bursting with young dreams. Each dream belongs to a young woman who is strong, vibrant, and motivated.  Her days are filled with lessons in the classroom and interactions amongst friends.  Her many different experiences throughout her high school career only fuel the fire of her aspirations.  Thanks to her drive and the continued efforts of her teachers, role models, and good friends, in four years, she will one day represent to society the true form of a women blessed with the "light to know and the grace to do."

The Seton Mission

For 52 years, Elizabeth Seton High School has encouraged young women to strive and grab a hold of their dreams, never letting go. It is our mission to create a community of faith that fosters worship, promotes Christian formation, provides a quality Catholic education and encourages community service.  We continue our tradition of preparing our students to be confident, independent, and compassionate women of the future by encouraging them to pursue academic excellence as well as other values that will make them successful adults.

Seton's Community

Elizabeth Seton High School is the only all-female high school in Prince George's County.  Without the support of our parents, alumnae, former parents, and friends, our school would not have survived during the time when all other single sex schools were closing.  The phrase "It take a village to raise a child" holds true.  For without your support, we can not continue to give our world confident, competent, independent, bright young women.

How can I help?

Our students benefit everyday from our community efforts.  Donations, volunteering, and motivating are just a few ways that you can help our young women to flourish. At the same time, your effort will also pave the way for our Seton legacy to continue into the future.
