It is the common goal of the EGUSC to produce complete soccer players. How we do that is by teaching the fundamentals and basics that will help players move on to higher levels of play. Our possession style soccer will require our players to improve their soccer IQ, thinking, on and off the ball. In our possession style of soccer, our players will be able to use both feet and will be capable playing organized defensive and attacking soccer. We will teach our players to play possession style soccer, building out of the back, be confident with the ball and take on the opposition without question. Our goal is to create a fun-filled environment in which our players will learn to fully understand the game of soccer. We will teach them to play different positions so that they will begin to understand what each position does and begin to fully understand the game of soccer. From this understanding they will develop skills that will help them in everyday life, for the rest of their lives. They will be team players. They will know how to work hard, be self-disciplined, learn to lose a match and enjoy their successes.
