Empower Her Inc

Have you ever watched your child get bullied or be treated badly by other children? Would you like your daughter to learn about and obtain skills related to body image, self-esteem, friendship, leadership? Have you or anyone you know ever been affected by breast cancer? Have you struggled helping your teen learn how to handle money or find a career path? Are you a new mom looking for ways to learn and have fun with your baby? Are you looking for something to do together with your daughter?

The list could go on, but if you answered yes to any of these questions then you understand the importance of finding resources or a place to go for help. What if all of the issues in these questions could be addressed in one place?

That place is Empower Her, Inc. Empower Her, Inc. is a non-profit women and girl’s community center with the mission to connect with, encourage and support women and girls to promote their social and emotional well-being within their lives and their communities. Empower Her, Inc. offers weekly and monthly programming. Each program is designed to meet the needs of a specific age group and will offer women and girls the opportunities to learn and also participate in social events. Youth programming is designed around prosocial education and life skills. Girls are educated on topics such as: self esteem, body image, friendship, leadership and community service. There are support groups for women; including breast cancer support, mom's night out and also, mother/daughter social events. 

Our small community is missing vital programs for women and girl’s needs. We are conveniently bring a variety of programming to our community members. Our programs not only meet these needs, but exceed them. 

We are seeking support to help us bring these very important initiatives to life. Our goal is to raise $20,000 to cover all operating costs for one year and be used towards making these important initiatives come alive and keeping programs as affordable as possible.
