Encore Community Services

Encore seeks to improve the lives of seniors, who as a result of the natural process of aging are experiencing financial hardships,food insecurity, or social isolation by providing enagaing programming / activities, social engagement with other seniors at our two community centers, and care planning for thousands of older New Yorkers, free meals via delivery to homebound senirors or served directly at our center. These programs include arts, recreation, and education courses, in addition to social work guided case management services to help them navigate the benfits and social safety net they qulify for.  We do this for people who come to us from all over New York City and especially for those who live on the West Side of Manhattan, from 14th street to 120th Street and in Encore’s two affordable and supportive residences.
