Endeavors Adult Development Center, Inc.

Endeavors Adult Development Center, Inc. is located in Balsam Lake, WI. We have been providing services for adults living with disabilities since 1965.  

We maintain a license with the State Department of Workforce Development, and we are one of the fourty-nine Certified Community Rehabilitation Programs in Wisconsin.

Endeavors' Day Service Program serves adults living with the most significant disabilities to promote personal growth and enhance basic living skills. Our Day Friends Program to serve those individuals living with Dementia, Advanced Aging, and those with similar needs. 

Endeavors' Prevocational Services Program  and DVR program provides job skills training and community employment to people with disabilities.  Our goal is to promote personal growth and provide meaningful employment and educational opportunities to our clients. 

Endeavors provides transportation for our program participants as well as Polk County and surrounding areas.  This service includes Wheelchair Accessible Vehicles; Door-to-Door Pick-up and Drop-off; and One Way or Round Trip Services.

This year we are fundraising to help cover costs to purchase a new bus to be able to continue to provide transportation for our clients and well as residents within our local communities. We provide daily round trip transportation to approximately 60 participants to and from our Center, as well as to job sites in the community.  In addition, we provide a county-wide transportation program for the community. Endeavors' annual expenses for transportation alone are over $150,000.00.

This year's Give Big Campaign is focusing on raising $10,000.00 to help us to continue to provide transportation services within Polk County.
