Enrichment Services Program

When Congress passed the Economic Opportunity Act of 1964, the goal was to obtain equality of opportunity in education, employment, health and living conditions for every American in our country. To realize this goal, nearly 900 locally-based Community Action Agencies were established throughout the nation Enrichment Services Program, Inc. (ESP), the only Community Action Agency (CAA)* in Muscogee County, was established in 1965.

ESP serves approximately 6,000 low to moderate income people annually in 10 counties in the state of Georgia. We employ over 400 team members committed to helping people and changing lives. Our early childhood & education and community service programs turn hope into reality. Motivating residents toward a desirable future and encouraging them to become a healthy contributor to the life of our community, ESP's mission is eliminate poverty through education, services, and partnerships.
