Education Equals Opportunity Too (E=O2™) is passionately committed to breaking the chains of poverty with distinctive programs and experiences that foster lifelong learning and provide insights into entrepreneurship and business. By 2025, E=O2™ aims to broaden its programming to include LBCC & CSULB students, businesses, and other entities. Established by the visionary local entrepreneurs and community advocates, Walter & Julie Larkins—with Julie's legacy enduring beyond her passing in 2021—the organization strives to "create defining moments for success." It does so by offering incentives that encourage student participation in programming centered on cultivating vital success and life skills.

It does so by offering them a TECH PACK (laptop, hotspot, backpack) incentives that encourage student participation in programming centered on cultivating vital success and life skills.

1. Effective communication: Using the Personality Matrix™ Tool to understand your superpowers and kryptonite and to communicate effectively with your personality opposites. 
2. Financial Responsibility: How to understand the difference between a need and want that is blurred by well-funded targeted marketing tactics that can impact youth's purchasing behavior, life choices and the financial stress on you and your family.
3. Financial Independence: How can youth achieve financial independence by pursuing their passion and ideas in a way that can be transformed into entrepreneurship and business ownership. 
4. Workforce Training: Includes Interviewing and Networking Skills. The Interview is not about your skills, That's your resume.  It's about your ability to network and managing your behavior; it's the employer deciding if you are retainable.  Our Networking programming also addresses our fear of Contact and Rejection using various exercises and experiences. For example; 

Our workforce training program informs students of the Seven things the interview is really about from an employer's perspective and that you must demonstrate you have with stories or examples. 

1. Will you show up and show up on time? Minimum standard that employer expect but can't control and the main reason they hate firing people for. 
2. Do you have good verbal communication skills? With Ai we expect great written communication. However, can you speak to the Ai and humans in a manner that can clearly communicate your needs, wants, desires, concerns and fears and have empathy for others? Aka What is your EQ?
3. Can you work effectively in groups and teams? (virtually and in real life). You can't achieve success without the help of others. 
4. Are you adaptable to change? Change is constant and "it's not in your job description", won't cut it, however it could cut you out of an opportunity. 
5. Are you intellectually curious to learn new things? Don't have time to train you. Research it, the answers are out there. Critical Thinking Skills are key to your success in a world with Ai. 
6. Are you creative and can you think outside of the box? Something Ai that can do yet. Critical Thinking Skills are key to your success in a world with Ai. 
7. Are you likeable? Because if you don't have any of the other skills, at least they will like seeing you around. EQ over IQ. We have an app for that.
