D & N Event Center

We provide a facility for youth activities as well as sports practices and training, wedding receptions, indoor expos, conventions, trade shows, seminars, concerts and other major events. 

The D & N Event Center is a 40,000 square foot facility that consists of a gymnasium, conference room, indoor turf field and convention center. It is a venue that serves North Platte and the surrounding area. As this is the only facility of this size in the area, it fills a need for this community, and brings visitors to North Platte. The D & N Event Center is classified as a 501(c) (3) non-profit corporation by the Internal Revenue Service. We are driven to encourage youth development and a safe place to attend youth oriented activities, there are over 50 youth sports teams, basketball, volleyball, football, indoor soccer, softball, wrestling, etc., as well as other youth development programs that use the facility for winter practice and throughout the year as well. We are the most highly used indoor complex in the Western part of Nebraska. In addition to youth activities and groups we also house many community activities that involve the whole family and local businesses. Over 600,000 people have visited or utilized the D & N in some capacity this past year.
