Our mission is to change the public’s perception on mental wellness and suicide by fostering a community of advocacy, awareness, and education.

The Evie Effect exists to move suicide prevention upstream. We focus on prevention and early conversation, equipping everyday people with the confidence to recognize warning signs, ask direct questions, and connect others to support before a crisis occurs.

Through our signature program Holding Space, community events, suicide loss retreats, and the Beyond the Darkness podcast, we create accessible entry points into conversations many people are afraid to start. We do not duplicate clinical services. Instead, we strengthen the system by empowering the community and partnering with local providers when individuals need higher levels of care.
