Tahoe Truckee Excellence in Education Foundation

Tahoe Truckee Excellence in Education Foundation is a non-profit foundation that enhances public education within the Tahoe Truckee Unified School District to strengthen the learning experience for students. Each year, the Foundation partners with local businesses and the community to raise money and invest over $250,000 in classroom grants, resources, and partnerships to benefit students and teachers in a school district that encompasses 12 schools in a geographic area of 720 square miles. 

Crazy as last year was, it was no exception. With your help, we provided COVID-related support, including funding for Chromebooks, Wi-Fi hotspots, social-emotional curriculum, and air-purifiers for the classrooms (recommended for safely returning to school). Additionally, we funded classroom grants and continued multi-year support of programs like Aim High and the Forest-Fire education program.
