Exceptional Outreach Organization Inc

The Exceptional Outreach Organization (E.O.O.) was founded by a group of parents in Lee County, AL interested in finding and funding programs and activities for their special needs teens and adults. Many of their children had aged out of recreation or school-related programs and needed more activities for them to get involved in, especially in the summer months.

E.O.O. was formed and established a mission to provide programs for exceptional individuals with special needs by fostering growth through recreation, education, and social activities.

The Board conducts an annual fundraiser, the Love Your Heart Run & Crank Your Heart Ride each February to raise awareness and funds for the organization.  The funds are distributed to various programs in Lee County, including the Annual Summer Therapeutic Camp, the Auburn University Chapter of Best Buddies, Special Olympics of Lee County, and other therapeutic programs. The board also hosts speakers and programs that bring education and resources to parents and families in our area.
