Ezra Academy, a K-8 Schechter Day School, educates Jewish children within a nurturing community to become  independent, lifelong learners, committed and knowledgeable Jews and responsible, caring citizens.

Everything we do at Ezra is made possible by our donorsā€™ support. In setting our tuition and fees, we work hard to strike the right balance between offering a superior educational experience, while ensuring that all families who desire a Jewish education for their children are able to receive one. With strong leadership and resource planning, we have kept tuition increases below the rate of inflation for the past several years. However, in order to achieve our goals, we must rely on outside resources to bridge the gap between the tuition we charge and our operating expenses. For perspective, about 45% of our students receive some level of financial assistance each year, and we simply cannot balance our budget without your help.

Through our donorsā€™ generosity, Ezra continues to provide excellence in Jewish education. Our students become enthusiastic, independent thinkers. Our dual curriculum of Judaic and general studies fosters higher order critical thinking and analytical skills. Through differentiated instruction and low student-to-teacher ratios, each childā€™s strengths and unique potentials are cultivated. Ezra creates strong, positive Jewish identities by instilling a deep knowledge of, and respect for, Jewish history, traditions and beliefs, and Hebrew language. Classroom projects and hands-on experience build a personal relationship with the State of Israel.

Graduates of Ezra Academy emerge as meaningful citizens of the world. The social action curriculum promotes a sense of responsibility for the community at large. Acts of Tikkun Olam (repairing the world) and Gemilut Chasadim (acts of loving kindness) encourage community involvement upon graduation. Students are prepared for the future, with a keen sense of morality, integrity and commitment to Judaic values and heritage. Our alumni attend the finest high
schools and universities and make invaluable contributions to the communities in which they live.

We appreciate your willingness to help us bridge the gap and provide the needed financial aid to enable any Jewish child to benefit from an Ezra Academy education.
