Faubourg Marigny Improvement Association, Inc. is a nonprofit organization committed to supporting residents, workers, visitors, and those engaged in recreational activities within our neighborhood. We function through a cooperative network that includes anchor institutions, faith-based collaborators, and local businesses. Incorporated in 1972, FMIA has grown in tandem with the City of New Orleans, striving to safeguard the historic architecture, dynamic culture, and multifaceted voices that are integral to the essence of Faubourg Marigny's character. Our aim is to transform the conventional concept of a neighborhood association by embodying shared values that unite us and honoring the diversity that enriches our community.
