FUR Animal Rescue

FUR Animal Rescue is passionately dedicated to saving animals in need at the North Platte Animal Shelter as well as animals within the community, by rescuing, providing veterinary care, fostering and finding forever homes through a process committed to making sure our rescues' next home, is their last home. We are a voice FUR the voiceless.

FUR Animal Rescue provides vital services to unwanted, abandoned, and neglected animals in North Platte. Our mission is to keep the city shelter No Kill. We're a rescue resource for the North Platte Animal Shelter, providing veterinary care, networking, and more.

We have several community programs:

- The FURcility, a rescue facility focused on feline rehabilitation
- #SnipItInTheBud, a spay/neuter program for stray and feral cats
- North Platte Pet Food Pantry
- LOST PAWS, a networking page to reunite lost/found pets
-Emergency fund program and more!
