Fabmo Inc

Exquisite but discontinued designer fabrics and other materials (wallpaper, tile, stone, leather, etc.) from designer showrooms used to go straight to the landfill. Now, FabMo rescues ~70 tons/year of these materials a year and makes them available to the public for creative reuse. Resulting items run the gamut from fine art to costumes, clothing, fashion accessories, jewelry, dolls/toys and home decor items—and are used, gifted, or sold in support of worthwhile programs and individual initiative.  Many life-changing stories have resulted.

FabMo offers strong support for educators as well as the local artisan community. 

We host sales and other events events regularly in our Sunnyvale showroom as well as community events like EarthDay, MakerFaire, the San Mateo County Fair, etc. 

FabMo welcomes partnerships with other local organization that share our goals of sustainability and creative reuse—as well as similar creative reuse organizations nationwide. 

 Volunteers are the heart and soul of our endeavor, and we have many fun and challenging opportunities for people who want to support our endeavors.
