Face in Water

Face in Water non-profit provides customized swimming and water safety education to reduce drownings and create awareness about the importance of learning how to swim. We empower communities by teaching a safe, healthy relationship with the water. 

According to the CDC… 

🐠 Drowning is the LEADING CAUSE of childhood unintentional death for children ages 1-4. 

🐠 Drowning is the 2nd leading cause of unintentional death for children ages 1- 14. 

Face in Water has received funding in the past that has provided learn-to-swim opportunities for adults, individuals with autism and underserved communities. Kim Shults, founder, has traveled to Uganda, Honduras, and Eleuthera to provide training for swimming and water safety outreach programs. The Outreach Team is currently planning and fundraising for their 2023 trip back to Eleuthera.

Face in Water provides learn-to-swim instructional videos, tutorials and live sessions, focusing on a healthy relationship with water from infancy. All proceeds from their children's books, skill cards, and ebook go to the non-profit.
