CITYWIDE MISSION, ORG.

The Citywide Mission is a cohesive fellowship of local churches reaching across denominational, gender, and ethnic boundaries to worship as one family and serve the community in a unified spirit of love that demonstrates to the world that we are Christ's disciples on a mission for His glory.

The focus and goals of the Citywide Mission, Org. are to glorify God through ministry in the community which exemplifies the love and compassion of our Savior. Matthew 5:16. Our primary focus areas are Community Outreach ; Senior Citizens; Youth Programs; Community Programs; and Hardship Assistance. Within these focus areas, annually we host the MLK Day Celebration, in which we celebrate the accomplishments of Dr. King, unite our community, and inspire our youth to ascribe to reach higher goals; a Youth Summit, in which youth are instructed and inspired to set and attain their goals; distribution of Senior Care Packages (Seniors 75+); an annual Thanksgiving Feast for the community (750+ free dinners); Christmas Gift Giving at the nursing homes; provide utility and housing assistance on a limited basis; and host 5th Sunday fellowship services in which community churches come together as one.
