Fairfax Symphony Orchestra

The Fairfax Symphony Orchestra is offering you a way to target your donation to directly support the excellent professional musicians who comprise the orchestra. By supporting the orchestra directly, you will have the unique opportunity to develop a relationship with both the music and the musician. 

Your support can also benefit the orchestra's educational outreach programs.  The FSO prides itself on its partnership with Fairfax County Public Schools and is proud to present 25-30 free summer small group performances in Fairfax County parks.  Over 15,000 children and their families benefit from seeing a performance by the orchestra, participating in an "Overture to Orchestra" event for K-4th grades in the schools, or by receiving a mentoring and skills-building session through the SCORE (Symphony Creating Outreach Resources for Educators) program offered to upper elementary, middle, and high school band and orchestra programs.  Your donated dollars make these programs a reality in our community, and not only expose our youth to the arts, but encourage self-esteem, independence, and a sense of accomplishment through these mentoring programs.
