Faith Hope Love Community (FHL) is a non-denominational network of ten (10) member Missional Food Pantries (MFP), located in Marion County, Indiana. Our hunger relief network has been providing food to individuals and families in need since 2005. FHL is an Indianapolis based 501 © (3) organization founded in 2005.

Our Mission:

The mission of FHL is to eradicate food insecurity, end hunger, and leverage the power of food to build healthy communities. Our aim is to train and mobilize local volunteers and organizations to serve our communities.

There is approximately 1 in 9 Americans who suffer from food insecurity, totaling about 42 million. In Indiana alone, 1 in 6 Hoosiers are food insecure, totaling 910,000. Due to the pandemic, more families are in need of food assistance. Beyond stress and fatigue, serious and long-term health problems have links to food insecurity. Food insecurity has been directly linked to multiple measures of success in school, from truancy to behavior to grades and test scores. A study from Clemson University even found that a 1% increase in food insecurity led to a startling 12% increase in violent crime.

This year alone, through the various FHL partners, we distributed over $500,000 worth of groceries that represents 30%, or more, of the food given away at the pantry level. Since May, the newest FHL Drive-thru missional food pantry has served 928 households or 3,744 individuals, mobilized 407 volunteers and given over $240,000 worth of groceries.

Please join us as we push forward to help our community and to fight hunger.

Sincerely,

1100 W. 42nd St. Ste. 365, Indianapolis, IN. 46208
