Some of the world’s most important work is done by those who raise children. Recognizing this invaluable contribution to the future, we value and appreciate people where they are, and honor their efforts.

The Parent and Family Enrichment Center is a place where parents and caregivers feel welcome, and are invited to both support others and be supported in a nurturing and warm environment.

Even the best of parents sometimes feel overwhelmed and inadequate when facing the challenging work of bringing up children. No one wants to feel judged when they are doing the very best they can. As a result, parents often feel alone and isolated with their concerns.

That’s why we welcome every person raising or working with children, because everyone needs affirmation and encouragement now and then. We do this by sharing everyday tools with everyday people.

Raising children can be challenging. Parents and caregivers need to know that whether they need ideas for handling tantrums or tips for improving communication with their teenagers, they will find friends here that will support them. Yes, there are challenges, but raising children can also be both rewarding and satisfying. 

Our vision is “world peace by way of the family.” We believe that sharing in a sense of belonging, community, and purpose is essential in accomplishing this. We want Lexington to be a place where stronger families lead to a stronger community.
