The Fred Rogers Company

A nonprofit organization

The Fred Rogers Company builds on its founder's legacy in the production of educational media for children. The company was founded by Fred Rogers in 1971 as the non-profit producer of "Mister Rogers' Neighborhood" for PBS. In recent years, it has extended Fred's philosophy and values to a variety of new programs that promote children's social-emotional learning, prepare them for success in school and in life, and support parents, teachers, and other important adults in their work with children.

"Daniel Tiger's Neighborhood" is an animated program for children ages 2 to 4 that advances and extends the philosophy and values of Fred Rogers and his pioneering PBS series "Mister Rogers' Neighborhood." Each story focuses on a common early learning theme, such as trying new things, managing fears, or dealing with disappointment. With Daniel, children at home learn the key social and emotional skills necessary for school and for life. The program also helps parents and educators strengthen their relationships with children and promote children's learning and well-being. Daniel's world also extends into mobile apps, online games, and interactive and traditional storybooks. It all adds up to a powerful tool for parents, an entertaining and thoughtful guide and resource for today's families, who make up a vast and ever-growing audience. This audience streams more than 40 million Daniel videos per month and has downloaded more than 1 million Daniel apps.
