Family Promise of Hillsborough County Inc

A family of 5 called our office desperate for somewhere to stay.  They came to Hillsborough County because he had gotten a job with Amazon.  Once here they found a place to stay, gave the deposit only to find out it was a scam.  You see they had found the landlord on Craigslist.  They paid the money, was given the code for the box to get the key.  Once they saw the house they were excited.  It was everything they wanted and needed for their already 3 children and one on the way.  They found themselves having to live in a hotel.  The drive to the job and the hotel fees were taking all that he was making.  They reached out to Family Promise and was extended the opportunity to be a part of the program.

Family Promise is a local answer to a national problem.  We exist to partner with families because every child deserves a home.  The program is designed to keep families together regardless of their structure and is the only program in Hillsborough County that serves homeless single fathers in a shelter.

WHY DONATE?  We have the answer.  The foundation of these families have been shaken.  Your donation assists in the rebuilding of that foundation so that the families can rebuild their future on solid ground.  Your donation will impact each family and possibly change their lives forever.
