Family Resources Inc

There are an estimated 380,000 homeless youth under the age of 18 and on their own for more than a week every year. More than 50% of street youth said they became homeless for the first time because they were asked to leave home by a parent or caregiver. Family Resources is working to change those statistics in our community by empowering youth and families with the resources to be successful through a continuum of free services. Our Teen Shelters provide a temporary safe haven and counseling for youth who are homeless, in crisis and need a hand up to get back on track..  

 In addition to our teens shelters, we strengthen families through counseling services and provide community education programs to teach young people how to build and maintain healthy relationships. Our after-school programs provide safe, enriching activities for youth and alleviates stress for single and working parents. Homeless LGBTQ youth and young pregnant or parenting moms can access housing & longer term assistance to develop permanent connections and life skills in our Transitional Living Programs. With your support, we are able to provide these integral, free services year after year and will continue to build a stronger, safer community one family at a time.  Everything that you do and all that you give MATTERS!
