We are raising money to continue providing BeSafeRI to Rhode Islanders needing help with food, cleaning products, masks and other assistance!  We launched this initiative at the dawn of the pandemic and it has been made possible only via private donations and grants!  We need your help to continue BeSafeRI through the upcoming cold weather months when COVID-19 is expected to increase in the Ocean State.

 With your help BeSafeRI will  continue providing free home delivery of free food and COVID-19-related cleaning products and safety items.   This is accomplished via three basic steps: 1) sourcing and purchasing the food and supplies; 2) Receiving requests via our website or by calling   401-519-2283.  3) Contact-free delivery of these items, in "BeSafe" kits, to the doorsteps of needy Rhode Islanders.

Volunteers assist Family Service of RI staff in preparing and delivering the BeSafe kits.

In addition to funding, we are hoping you will assist in a component called  Be Together RI.  Even if you cannot donate please visit Be Together RI to write caring notes that we will include in the BeSafe delivery kits.  The goal is to help overcome the social isolation being felt by recipients, and to foster a greater sense of community, which we believe is critically important in these divisive times.
