Fargo-Moorhead Area Foundation A Community Trust

A nonprofit organization

Mission

Fargo-Moorhead Area Foundation is the charitable giving resource for the people in Cass and Clay Counties in North Dakota and Minnesota. As the oldest and largest community foundation in the region, FMAF has a tradition of making giving easy, flexible and effective by connecting donors to the things they care about. Blending traditions with current needs, the foundation functions primarily as a grantmaking organization, but also provides other support and services to the community.

Programs

A proven steward for charitable gifts and bequests, the Foundation offers many options for donors interested in supporting charitable and educational programs. FM Area Foundation seeks to improve the quality of life through developing a permanent endowment, stewardship of donor funds, and responsible grantmaking.

Serving as a resource for nonprofit organizations, our role extends beyond that of grantmaker. We sponsor community visioning and problem solving initiatives, as well as workshops and management programs for nonprofit organizations.
