The Freedom Center for Social Justice is an organization dedicated to uplifting trans and gender nonconforming (TGNC) communities. Our signature initiative, the Trans Faith and Action Network (TFAAN) Retreat, is a transformative gathering that provides TGNC individuals with workshops, community support, and resources focused on faith, housing, healthcare, and identity. The retreat creates a safe and affirming space for TGNC people to share experiences, build resilience, and access tools for personal and collective empowerment.

We work year-round to advance LGBTQ+ rights, challenge discrimination, and provide resources for TGNC people navigating social and systemic barriers. Our mission is rooted in the belief that everyone deserves to live safely, authentically, and with dignity. By supporting TFAAN and the Freedom Center for Social Justice, you directly support trans-led programs that build community, promote equity, and uplift LGBTQ+ voices across the South and beyond.
