Florida Disability Access and Awareness Foundation Inc

The idea behind our mission is to harvest the power of visual media: video games, documentaries, photography  and apps as an effective tool to fight negative disability stereotypes. We want to give people with disabilities the ability to work on projects that affect perception of their own community and help develop their skills in video arts and computer science. At the same time our student interrns assist and help develop these projects while developing a greater appreciation for the disability community and the take away message that we are all the same. We all learn from each other.

 With this we hope that the local communities as a whole will see more, feel more and notice more as we get closer to our great goal: an inclusive society full of opportunity, where your disability doesn't have a greater impact on the quality of your life than it has to.
