Feed Arkansas Kids

Feed Arkansas Kids (FAK) is an outreach that began through the Church at Rock Creek in Little Rock, Arkansas providing weekend meals for homeless and food insecure children in Central Arkansas. It has since grown and is now a separate nonprofit 501(c)(3) entity. We are working to expand the program throughout the entire state of Arkansas. The food is ordered through the Arkansas Foodbank Network. 

The area school districts work with our volunteers to locate the children in need. We then pack backpacks with breakfast, lunch, dinner and snacks for both Saturday and Sunday. The backpacks are delivered to over 38 schools by Friday to the various schools children attend for them to take home for the weekend.

It is our hope to reach all Arkansas children in need of weekend meals. For about the price of a gourmet coffee, you can provide one child in Arkansas with food for the weekend. We are able to provide weekends meals for as little as $6 per child. We hope that you will consider making a donation to help us feed Arkansas kids.
