Our belief in this mission is deeply rooted in personal in our tragic loss, along with other families stories of loss and a collective resolve to create a safer future.

The acronym BE stands for Building Empowerment—our pledge to empower individuals, families, and communities to confront the challenges of the fentanyl epidemic with courage, knowledge, and support. Every aspect of our organization reflects this ethos, from our youth education initiatives to our grief support services and life-saving outreach programs.

We BE-lieve in:

1. The Power of Education to Save Lives: Programs like the Fenta Nah Youth Outreach Program (FNYOP) equip youth with essential tools and resources to navigate and resist the dangers of fentanyl. 
2. The Strength of Community to Heal: Our community-focused programs foster connections, creating networks of care that amplify hope and resilience. 
3. The Importance of Equity: We are committed to ensuring all individuals, regardless of socioeconomic status, have access to the resources they need to thrive, including naloxone distribution, bereavement support, and education. 

Each program reflects our belief that knowledge and compassion can save lives and change futures. 

For example:

1. Our Funeral Fund provides financial support for families navigating unthinkable losses. 
2. FNYOP empowers young people to be advocates for change. 
3. Community events like the Fentanyl Fall Fest and Summer Splash educate and unite. 
4. The planned RFID Life Alert System (launching in 2026) aims to provide immediate, life-saving assistance.
