Filberts Foundation for Furry Friends

Our organization's main projects at this time is to focus our efforts on raising funds to spay at risk street dogs in Asia, particularly in Malaysia, where society has become intolerant of their presence. The local councils in Malaysia widely practice catch and cull. Therefore, F5 helps fund the spaying of these dogs cared for by responsible rescuers who relocate them to a safe area, where they are fed and well cared for, hence allowing them to live out the rest of their natural lives roaming free without pain and anguish. Proceeds from this event will help fund the cost of spaying of these street animals and will be sent to the veterinarian(s) that subsidize these spaying fees.  Please see our mission statement as well.
