Finley's Green Leap Forward

Finley Broaddus created Finely's Green Leap Forward Fund in 2014 while battling incurable cancer the second semester of her senior year of high school. With an early acceptance to the College of William and Mary and plans to study environmental science and policy, Finley created the fund to channel the outpouring of support she received to what she cared about most. Her strong convictions and irresistibly joyful spirit continue to set an example and inspire people to improve lives and care for our planet.

Finley's Green Leap Forward Fund promotes environmental sustainability through grants to a combination of local and global organizations and through personal action. Organizations are selected based on their positive impact on the fight against climate change and on the lives of people in their communities. Personal action is encouraged through motivational posts and through the ever-growing 'Finley's Forest' of trees planted around the globe.
