That's why we do what we do. Nothing more, nothing less.

There are numerous reasons as to how people got to this point: job changes; family dynamic changes; health (physical and mental) changes; unexpected medical bills. The list is long. Look beyond the reasons and ask one simple question - WHY is ANYONE in Idaho going hungry?

32,000 people in Bannock County identified as food insecure. WHY?

Our mission is fairly simple: to give families the tools necessary to become food secure. This ranges from giving them emergency food to offering cooking classes, shopping tips and classes, how to stretch their dollars and budget, to name a few other ways.

Your donation gives us the ability to purchase additional food as the need increases. By being very frugal with area ads and through the Power of Purchase programs with the Idaho Foodbank, we're able to stretch those dollars by securing food at much less than retail. Additionally, your donation allows us to purchase materials for workshops and classes.

How can we minimize the impact of hunger in Idaho? One city, one family at a time. That's our goal here at the Food Pantry.

YOU are invited to come and check us out in person if you haven't already done so. Any Thursday between 3 and 7 pm. Just stop in and we'll give you a tour, talk to some folks and maybe even get you to serve some of the amazing Guests that come through our door. No experience needed...
