First Light Community of Mobile (formerly L'Arche Mobile) is a community where men and women with and without intellectual disabilities share life together. FLC makes a lifetime commitment to the people with whom we share life. Our mission is to create homes where faithful relationships based on forgiveness and celebration are nurtured, to reveal the unique value and vocation of each person, and to live relationships in community as a sign of hope and love. The uniqueness of FLC lies in the built relationships that reflect family-like lifestyles and provide a safe and welcoming environment in which Core Members can live out the remainder of their lives.
