Firstmed Health and Wellness Center

Since 2009, FirstMed provides comprehensive preventive and primary health care services to the low income families of Las Vegas, Nevada. We serve:

• Patients who have not seen a doctor due to the lack of insurance or ability to pay
• The Medicaid eligible patient who could not find a primary care provider that would take their insurance.
• The home bound patient who continues to receive medical care through our home visit program.
• The Medicare receipient who is unable to afford his copay of his medications
• Women and children  who are unable to afford immunizations or women's services

through our collaborative efforts with community-based organizations and health care professionals, we seek to provide quality, low-cost services, that ensure the continuity of care, address the barriers of achieving optimum health, and provide patients a medical home where care is provided in a culturally and linguistically sensitive manner.  FirstMed uses innovative strategies to ensure that our patients'needs are met, and to contribute to building a healthier Las Vegas community.
