First Stop Inc

First Stop, Inc. is an IRS qualified 501 (c)(3) whose primary objective is to reduce the number of street homeless persons.  Since 2001 First Stop has provided outreach to the homeless in the camps, individualized case management support, and placement into permanent housing.  First Stop operates in complete partnership with many homeless support agencies including the Community Free Clinic, Huntsville Hospital, Crestwood Medical Center, the Huntsville Housing Authority, the Huntsville Police Department, and the Community Development Office. By placing eligible homeless persons into permanent housing, and caring for those still living in the “camps” First Stop provides a valuable service to all citizens of Huntsville and Madison County.
