Fishers for Men for Veterans

To aid high risk veterans; and to assist homeless and distressed veterans and their families; for all a better quality of life.

We have helped several hundred veterans during our last 3 Stand Downs, we have done over a dozen suicide preventions, we have built 14 wheel chair ramps for disabled veterans. We currently have a bike programs allowing veterans low cost transportation in the area they live. We offer wheel chairs, some electric as available to veterans who are unable to get them. we offer limited transportation to appointments or shopping for veterans without reliable transportation. We offer those who are homeless, tents, sleeping bags and blankets many other items as in camping equipment as needed and keep tabs on them. We offer furniture to those veterans that need it, such as beds, tables, chairs, recliners, TV's, end tables and etc. as needed. We also provide limited funds to those who need electric bills and gas bills paid. we provide food boxes and emergency packs and we are involved with the Department of Veterans Affairs.
We also have a community coat and blanket drive to help veterans with warmer winter clothing and additional blankets as needed.
