This Give Miami Day, support Florida Singing Sons, an organization dedicated to fostering the voices of South Florida’s youth and enriching our community through music.

Our young singers are not only gaining valuable music education but also experiencing extraordinary performance opportunities alongside Miami’s leading arts organizations. Last season, under the direction of Daniel Bates and Malcolm Rogers, Florida Singing Sons proudly served as the children’s chorus for Florida Grand Opera’s productions of Il Pagliacci and La Bohème. This year, three of our members will take the stage as sprites in The Magic Flute, and we return as the children’s chorus in Carmen this spring. Additionally, we’re thrilled to perform with New World Symphony in Benjamin Britten’s War Requiem, allowing our choristers to participate in world-class collaborations that deepen their musical and personal growth.

We’re especially proud to have been a part of the Oye Choral Festival this past summer, celebrating Miami’s diverse talent, and to continue our partnerships with local organizations like John Knox Village, where we bring music and joy to senior citizens. By supporting us on Give Miami Day, you’re investing in our young singers, music educators, administrators, and volunteers who work tirelessly to create a positive impact.

Florida Singing Sons goes beyond performances—our mission includes accessible music education, community outreach, and performances that reach the heart of Miami-Dade and Broward counties. Last year, we awarded thousands of dollars in scholarships/financial aid, ensuring every child has the chance to find their voice, regardless of financial circumstances.
