Flying High 4 Haiti

Flying High 4 Haiti us a volunteer-driven, Florida non-profit organization. Since 2011 we have sponsored 'Ecole du Village' a 150-student school in Ile-a-Vache, Haiti. 

We work to empower the community of Ile-la-Vache in Haiti through sustainable development by providing access to educational opportunities. The island has no running water, electricity, or paved roads, and it has challenging life conditions. We fight passionately so these life circumstances don't prevent the children from having a better future.

In addition to the extreme poverty in which this community lives, other natural tragedies have impacted the region, further complicating living conditions. An earthquake in 2021 and Hurricane Mathew in 2016, among others, have set the community back, undoing years of hard work. On those occasions, we have lent a helping hand, providing volunteers, food, and materials, but above all, accompanying, listening, and supporting this community.

Despite the conditions and the natural disasters, we are committed to our mission, and with the generosity of our donors we have been able to continue to educate the children, expand the school, and provide new options:

Two years ago, with the partnership of the Taylor Moxey Foundation, we expanded the school by adding a library and arts center where children can learn in a happy and safe environment

.In June of 2023, with the funds raised during Give Miami Day in 2022, we built and opened a school infirmary to treat kids with medical conditions, provide nutritional direction, and provide guidance to avoid spreading diseases.

This year our goal is to raise funds to build a sports field, where the children can practice sports, develop teamwork, and cultivate a healthy lifestyle.
